Fall Finds

I just added this to this post. The tory burch shoe above is the shoe that I really want. Haven't worn the ones below. Just trying to justify spending for the above shoe. Maybe I will add to my Christmas list.

Just purchased these over the weekend at Nordstrom. I was on the hunt for shoes to wear with my winter white cords. Not sure what I think. Love how they fit and feel, but not sure about the bright gold. any opinions??

Party Planners

I know I should of done this a long time ago, but I guess it is never too late. Anthropologie find!

Was in Richmond last weekend and also picked up this top along with my bag. I wouldn't normally pick something like this out, but really like it. I of course, wear a cardigan over it. I don't show my arms (comes from years of swimming and having big shoulders) The top is racer back and that is another reason to wear a sweater over it. That would require me to buy a bra specifically for this shirt and that is not going to happen!

Heading to Raleigh this weekend to visit college friends and I will have to stop at all of the wonderful shopping establishments that Raleigh has to offer. (Southpark, North Hills, Cameron Village) just to name a few!

Fall Bag

I have been gone way too long and will try better to keep my site updated. I just purchased this bag from Nordstrom's and love it. I had a hard time deciding on a color but went with the seafoam blue which is the color above. Loved the orange, but it is sold out! The bag is by JPK Paris. I have never heard of this designer-but what do I know. I am just happy with something new to carry on my shoulder-the little things in life!

J. Crew and where have I been!

I was in Lynchburg last week and was able to stop by J.Crew. I picked up this shirt and another one in silver. I love the collar, not so crazy about it being sleeveless, but love it with a cardigan.
If only spring will get here. I am over the snow and rain.

I have also been very busy with To Bee Named-thanks to all of my customers!

I also have a new job that I love. I am selling eyeglass frames to optometrists. It is fun and stylish and people always need glasses. I have name brands that I also enjoy wearing. The only negative so far is my territory. I have all of Southwest Virginia and parts on West Virginia. I do get to stay in a hotel by myself which is like a mini vacation.
Next week, I head to the Big Apple for a conference-I am super excited about that. Yummy food and lots of hours of working in a booth!

My favorite GIFT!

Here is my mantle and a picture of my little ones. Each year when the children were 3-I had a pastel done of them. A Christmas gift from my parents. I have decided to hang them above my mantle. I love them side by side and will cherish them forever. My master/grand plan is to have an oil done of them together that my husband and I will keep and children can take their pastels with them when they get older and have a place of their own. The artist is Christy Talbott. She is wonderful and I highly recommend her. She has children of her own-so she gets "it" and knows how stressful having a portrait done is. Here is a lamp that I just moved to my kitchen counter. I absolutely love it and purchased it from Dana Gibson-it is a one of a kind. She has a studio in Richmond, Virginia that is fun to visit and see her one of a kind pieces. I could of purchased many more things. If you haven't seen her work-you can log onto her website and see all that she has to offer. She has many of her items at local stores-check the store listing page on her website. She is so talented and I hope to acquire more pieces along the way. (I just need to figure out how to hide these cords behind the lamp)

New J. Crew

I was in Lynchburg today and stopped by the J. Crew clearance center. I did find a pair of these sandals and a pair of yellow pants. I am already ready for Spring and will love having these. The woman working there, said they have just finished inventory and will be adding more things daily. It was still full of lots of fall and winter.

Welcome 2009!

Sorry for not posting for a while. December was busy with napkins (thank you customers) and getting ready for Santa to come visit. This year was so fun with the kids. Miss Priss is now 3.5 and Mr. 6 is 6.5 and I wish I could stop time. I look at my peeps each day and think of how big they are now and I know it is going to go by faster each year.

Well, something that has helped me get by this holiday season are B-12 vitamins. I felt very sluggish this fall and had my thyroid checked and that was fine, so the Dr. suggested B-12 vitamins. I take one a day in the am and it works wonders. So, if you need a little boost-give them a try. I purchased mine at GNC.
